On the 7th and 8th of April WLZ team conducted Climate Change awareness trainings in Matimba-Shurugwi District and Gambiza-Gweru District respectively. Participants were also trained on Agro-ecology and its benefits.
Some of methods under agro-ecology include diversification of crops, conservation tillage, green manures, natural fertilisers, biological pest control, rainwater harvesting, and production of crops and livestock in ways that store carbon and protect forests.
