From the 16th to the 18th of February WLZ team was conducting monitoring visits in the three irrigation schemes (Bubi, Thulilishongwe and Chiundura). The solar powered irrigation schemes have enabled women farmers (beneficiaries) to continuously grow crops throughout the whole year despite the erratic rains. During the discussions, the farmers attested that they are benefiting much from the projects as their household income and food security have improved.
